Safety and Security of the car are two of the most common concerns among owners in general, regardless of private or organizational use. In recent years, internet-based car security systems have been proved as a plausible solution to monitor and check the car’s conditions from everywhere. In Arshin, we have added some more practical solutions to improve such a system utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
Real-time monitoring and notification
We all have experienced such a situation in which we could not realize whether the parked car’s doors are locked or not from a far distance so that we had to return to the car’s location to check. Generally, internet-based security and antitheft systems enable owners to monitor the car conditions online; regardless of distance as they send data through the internet. The condition monitoring does not only matter to the doors, sunroof or trunk conditions which can be recognized by the car sensors, but also it is important on the damage issues like glass breaking or scratching for which no default detectors are embedded in the car. Arshin security system including an online platform and detective sensors, enables the owners to monitor their car’s conditions and be alerted immediately if any damage occurs.
Intelligent security
Setting access limitations is desirable and helpful to prevent theft or misuse. Our intelligent security solution uses Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide the option of conditional start via face recognition, voice command or RFID card. This option prevents unauthorized turning on the car so that it is useful not only to debilitate thieves but to restrain teenagers’ unpermitted access as well. Moreover, fleet managers can customize the system for the shared vehicles to categorize all the receiving data based on the responsible user’s ID card. Consequently, the performance data of each driver would be gathered and evaluated separately.
Practical response
Have you ever thought about what you can do when your car is being stolen by a thief or being towed by the police? Most people can only mention going to the police as an immediate response which is no way to disrupt the process. Arshin offers a unique solution package of practical responses in such cases. There are two relays included in our system; one of which can control the start electricity and the other can disable fuel pump. Therefore, if anyone breaks into the car, they will not be able to start and drive the car unless the owner allows the action on their mobile phone. Also, the owner will be alerted about the break in immediately; whether they are within the buzzer’s hearing distance or not. Furthermore, if the car is being towed by the police because of inhibited parking, the system will recognize it with an accelerometer sensor and the owner will be alerted. In many countries, if the owner catches the towing process, the car will not go to the police parking and they only have to pay the fine. So, this immediate alert may be regarded as the practical response in such cases as well.
Emergency help
Arshin’s smart security system can provide various safety-related services in cases of emergency. An SOS button is embedded to enable the driver to contact a trusted number or the rescue services with just one intangible button push; in the case of a health emergency like a heart attack, or in the case of a safety emergency like coercion, threat or enforcement. The developed AI is also able to detect the theft and contact the police directly so that their arrival is hastened. Also, it can detect the occurrence of an accident based on the sensors’ data, call the rescue services and send them the location automatically. Our system consists of two independent parts so that its functionality continues if one of them gets hurt or disrupted. As a result, this system can be lifesaver in such tough conditions and more.
